How Carbon Fiber Stables Work
When a poured concrete wall starts to crack horizontally, injecting the crack with epoxy or polyurethane foam would stop the water, but that is not enough. To structurally fix the cracks, Eco Dry uses carbon fiber staples. Staples are different than straps. Straps are 7 to 8 feet long and 6 inches wide. They are installed every 4 feet on center. They are generally used on brick, block, or stone basement walls. Carbon fiber staples are 12 inches long and about an inch wide. They are installed every two feet over the crack. Staples are only recommended for use on poured concrete walls.
